Locomotive Beh. (L)

Locomotion (McDonnell, 2003; Ransom & Cade, 2009)

Horses, as most animals, have to get from one place to the other to survive and reproduce. Included under the heading of locomotion are the different ways an animal moves progressively to get somewhere, likely “(…) from one resource to another” (Ransom & Cade, 2009)

In arid and semi arid conditions, water sources are far apart and horses have to cover larger distances either once or twice a day. (Ransom & Cade, 2009)
